The phone rings and nobody can put the job down

In a workshop there is not always someone free to pick up. Estacell records the missed call, tells the customer where things stand, and makes clear who is following it up.

What the phone looks like in a workshop

  • Everyone is mid-job, the phone rings, nobody can answer, and the number is gone.
  • The customer calls three times a day to ask whether the car is ready.
  • The job is agreed verbally; only the person who was there that day knows what was said.
  • Deposits and expenses are in a notebook, and the notebook is under the counter.

You do not answer the phone with oily hands. The system keeps the call so it is not lost.
What changes

Work does not disappear just because nobody could answer

A missed call becomes a job

An unanswered call opens a record, creates a contact if the number is new, and puts a callback on someone’s list.

One inbox per customer

The fault photo sent on WhatsApp sits in the same record as the phone conversation.

Who is following it up

Every call is assigned to a person, so "nobody told me" stops being an option.

Automatic status messages

Job received, waiting for parts, ready — one tap sends the customer the update.

Call summaries

What was reported, what was promised, whether a price was discussed — summarised from the recording.

Cash ledger

Deposits, parts and labour, with a signed receipt sent by SMS.

Workshop setup

What happens when you pick "service"

Real-estate contracts come switched off; the cash ledger and appointments come switched on.

Cash ledger on

The counter notebook, digital — password protected, with signed receipts.

Appointment calendar

Drop-off and collection times, with reminders to the customer.

Saved replies

Bind the sentences you type most to a shortcut so nobody has to type them again.

Mobile app

The team in the field sees the ringing caller as a card and calls back through the switchboard.

FAQ

For workshops

Is there a work-order module?
Not a full work-order module yet. A call creates the contact, notes and appointment, and the cash ledger covers the money side. A detailed work order is on the roadmap.
Can the field team use it?
Yes. The mobile app shows the ringing caller as a card, calls back through the switchboard, and pushes missed-call alerts.
We have one number and several people answer. Is that a problem?
No — if the switchboard has several extensions, we can see which one answered and log the call against that person. A shared mobile number is the exception: there we cannot tell who should call, so each person needs their own number.

Call your own office and watch it appear

Connect your switchboard and one social account, message yourself, and see both land in the same inbox. That’s the whole demo.
